Department of Business Administration was founded in 1984, one of the five earliest-established departments in Henan university of Finance & Economics. After twenty years development, now it offers Muster Degrees in corporate management and technological economy & management，as well as two undergraduate specialties in business administration and marketing. Following unique education philosophy, referring to western developed country's MBA teaching model, department has trained numerous undergraduates and postgraduates. Currently, over 1300 undergraduates and postgraduates are studying here.

　Department has 42 faculty and staff members including 13 professors and assistant professors, 17 lecturers and 8 studying for a doctorate. 96% of the faculty possess a muster's degree. There are muster supervisor group, business administration research group, management science research group, marketing research group, and one reference room in the department, besides there are three institutes: business administration institute, management consultation institute and industrial economy institute. With a large number of renowned experts and professors in academic and corporate fields, since 1997, department has completed over 30 projects at national and provincial level, of which 16 won provincial awards, published 408 theses, 78 works and textbooks. Presently, department is undertaking lots of projects sponsored by National Fund For Social Sciences and provincial departments.
